About Us FESY
We believe in empowering youth to become globally competitive.
Friends Effort to Support Youth (FESY) is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2012 and officially registered in 2016 under license no 024/NGO/RGB/2016, born out of a deep understanding of the decades-long struggles faced by Rwanda's youth and women. Through extensive research and a heartfelt recognition of these challenges, FESY is dedicated to addressing the socio-economic and health development needs of these communities, empowering them to overcome obstacles and actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
By equipping young people and women with the necessary skills, resources, and opportunities, FESY works to tackle issues such as unemployment, economic inequality, and health disparities. Together with local stakeholders, the organization is building a brighter and more resilient future for Rwanda’s youth and women.

Since its formal launch in 2016, FESY has empowered thousands of youth and women through job creation, skill-building, and health initiatives. By collaborating closely with local stakeholders and aligning its programs with real community needs, FESY continues to foster a culture of empowerment and sustainable development.
In Rwanda and across the region, many youth and women still face high levels of unemployment, limited access to quality education, and economic exclusion. Despite their potential, they often lack the practical skills, mentorship, and resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods or lead change in their communities.
